Medoc’s Vino Vouchers

The counsel des Vins du Médoc (CVM) has launched an in-store promotional campaign primarily targeting the independent UK off-trade sector

The counsel des Vins du Médoc (CVM) has launched an in-store promotional campaign primarily targeting the independent UK off-trade sector. The Great Médoc Challenge will take place in October 2005, involving eye-catching point-of-sale material, including posters, shelf-talkers and a prizedraw package worth over £15,000 in Médoc wine vouchers. Participating stores will receive the promotional kit free of charge, and a key mechanic of the promotion is that the winning vouchers must be used in the shop where they were collected.

Jean-Louis Viaut, MD at the CVM, comments, “This is a win, win situation. Stores need to participate with a minimum of three Médoc wines and a commitment to utilise the promotional material. We will then provide an exceptional package and an exciting platform to drive sales.” The initiative has already been successfully rolled out in France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and the Netherlands. Stores can request a participation form by faxing their details to 01702 291840, reference: The Great Médoc Challenge Sign Up.
