Festival goers will be reminded to “take it easy” as they enjoy Carling lager at some of this summer’s major music festivals. More than two million Carling branded pint cups are being produced, specifically listing each festival on the side. They feature a message to drinkers to “Enjoy Carling: take it easy”, reflecting the brand’s commitment to responsible drinking. Carling is also supplying branded bar staff T-shirts with the “Take it Easy” message.

Des Johnson, brand director for Carling, says, “This promises to be a fantastic summer of live outdoor music and drinkers will be able to enjoy Carling at many of the top events. Of course, we urge consumers to enjoy our beers in a responsible way and the wording makes the point that it’s fine to enjoy Carling, but that it’s best to take a sensible approach to drinking any alcohol.” Carling will be on sale at a number of outdoor music events this summer, including the Download Festival, the Isle of Wight Festival, the V Festival and, of course, the Carling Weekend in Reading and Leeds Festival.
