COBRA Beer has launched a £1m "media first" sponsorship campaign on ITV2 and ITV3. The beer brand is to be the first fully integrated sponsor of all movies on ITV2 and ITV3 in 2005.
COBRA Beer has launched a £1m "media first" sponsorship campaign on ITV2 and ITV3. The beer brand is to be the first fully integrated sponsor of all movies on ITV2 and ITV3 in 2005.
Cobra’s first foray into television, following on from the "Inspired" campaigns, represents the biggest single deal negotiated for ITV2 and the first broadcast sponsor for ITV3 movies. Cobra will also be launching "CobraVision", a competition whereby members of the British public are given the opportunity to have their own short film showcased during the ITV2 and ITV3 movie segments.
Karan Bilimoria CBE, DL, founder and chief executive of Cobra Beer explains, "CobraVision is an initiative to support and encourage creativity and filmmaking in the UK, providing aspiring artists and directors with the opportunity to showcase their work to a wide audience through the Cobra/ITV partnership."
In addition, viewers will be able to access interactive services to enter a themed competition, as well as exclusive content about Cobra beer initiatives and products, via their remote control.
