Bartender of the Year announced
Adam Siouty from Squares in Preston was crowned first, Matt Marriott from Old Orleans in Birmingham second and Andrew Knapper, also from Squares, third.
The results of The Spirit Group’s Bartender of the Year competition have been announced. Adam Siouty (left) from Squares in Preston was crowned first, Matt Marriott from Old Orleans in Birmingham second and Andrew Knapper, also from Squares, third.
Winner Siouty impressed judges at Bar 38 in Manchester in all five rounds and has earned himself a £3,000 trip to Puerto Rico, home of the competition sponsors Bacardi.
"I can’t believe I won," commented Siouty. "The standards at the heat were really good, let alone the final, so I didn’t think I had a chance of winning."
