Kingsland and Legacy Wines merge
Kingsland Wine & Spirits and its subsidiary Legacy Wines have merged and renamed Kingsland to “simplify” the company’s message.
In a statement released yesterday Kingsland Wine & Spirits said it had taken the decision to consolidate its offerings under the Kingsland umbrella after speaking with stakeholders, adding that the business had traded under the Kingsland name for 20 years and had built up a reputation as a “trusted, reliable, flexible partner.”
Andy Sagar, managing director said: “The last few years have been a period of positive development and significant investment for us, from setting up our own brands and agency portfolio to installing a new42-tank wine cellar.
“Bringing all the elements of our operation under one name helps us to communicate a very simple message: that Kingsland is an experienced, innovative, bespoke wine and spirits company.”
Legacy was launched by Kingsland Wine and Spirits in 2011 as a new division of the Manchester-based company with the aim of focusing on impulse, on-trade and European export sectors.
Both companies will now go under the single name, Kingsland.
