Top rosés line up for charity tasting
UK fine wine merchant Goedhuis is once again holding its Summer Rosé tasting to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Due to be held at the Saatchi Gallery in London next Wednesday 12 June from 6.30pm-9pm, the event will feature a range of top end rosé styles, both still and sparkling, from producers including Taittinger, Nyetimber, Billecart-Salmon, Château d’Esclans, Château de Sours, Domaine Reverdy, Château St Baillon and Domaines Ott.
The event will mark one of the first opportunities to taste the new 2009 rosé from English sparkling wine producer Nyetimber, which is launching next week with an RRP of £45 a bottle.
Goedhuis will donate 10% from all wine sold on the night, as well as a subsequent rosé offer, to Starlight as part of an aim to raise at least £40,000 for the charity, which grants wishes for seriously ill children.
In addition to the tasting, the evening will also feature the chance to win a number of prizes as part of the silent auction, as well as contribute to the wish pledge.
A number of tickets are still available for the event. For more information, to book a ticket or donate to the charity, please visit the Starlight website.
