Your rude wine labels

We recently published a list of rude wine labels and asked you to send us any you had spotted – and send them in you did.

Our previous list included lots of “Bitches” and even a “Fat Bastard” but that proved to be simply the tip of the rude wine label’s iceberg.

Laden with innuendo and bad taste and some straight-forward swearing you’ve certainly found some pretty rude wine labels.

So a huge thank you goes out to all those people who have emailed us with their rude wine thoughts. But we’re convinced there are more out there, so maybe this lot will inspire you to email us any rude wine labels you’ve seen.

Just email the details to us and we’ll publish the best ones.

Thanks to Iain Thurger for this wine. When he emailed us Iain said: “I can’t believe you missed this one”, fair point Iain.

The first of the innuendo wines comes from the Russian River Valley and was sent to us by Robert Amox, who also included some of the marketing material from the vineyard, which pushes more boundaries. “Soft entry, full and fleshy in the mouth, never completely dry with flavours of citrus and tropical fruits, great depth and a spectacular explosive satisfying finish.”

There’s not much that needs to be said about this wine label, which was sent to us by Rod Smith MW. This is obviously not rude in Italian, but we can’t see too much of this being displayed in supermarkets in the UK.

The good people of Frisky Midget emailed us, to tell us about their wine. They told us, “Our labels feature a series of babushka dolls. As you turn the bottle, the smallest doll is revealed, and she’s wearing some pretty saucy lingerie. She’s short in stature, and frisky in nature. Hence the name Frisky Midget.”

Another one sent to us by Olivier Didon and we really hope that this one tastes a lot better than the name suggests.

This wine was sent to us by Todd Brickman. This wine is from Txtcellars and you need to know your text-speak to understand why this one is rude.

A little bit of blasphemy from the Blasted Church in British Columbia in Canada and thanks to Laurie Millotte for emailing the details to us.

These wines have a lot to live up to with this name, here’s hoping that they pack a punch for their sake. This is another wine sent to us by Olivier Didon.
