Bombay pops up for World Gin Day
Bombay Sapphire is marking World Gin Day on Saturday 9 June with the launch of a London pop up venue at Zenna Bar in Soho.
The Bombay Sapphire Blue Rooms will remain open at the Indian cocktail bar until 9 September, serving a selection of gin cocktails and hosting monthly masterclasses, brand inductions and cocktail competitions.
The team has collaborated with designer Ross Hancock for the interiors and staff uniform, which promise “an Eastern influence and a touch of east London.”
Meanwhile Australian artist Jari Kutasi has created a video collage installation “referencing images and locations that best represented Bombay Sapphire and the imaginative journey.”
Describing the venue as “the perfect retreat to pause, reflect and rejuvenate”, Bombay Sapphire UK brand ambassador Sam Carter said: “London is such a busy city and with the dynamic summer ahead, the Bombay Sapphire team wanted to offer everyone a space to escape from it all, even for just one afternoon or evening.”
