J&B formally opens HK office
Justerini & Brooks has formally opened its Hong Kong office.
Located in the Centrium building in the city’s central district, the opening was marked with a party at one of Hong Kong’s top nightspots, the Dragon-I.
The office has been opened to manage the merchant’s “ever growing number of customers in Hong Kong and the region”.
The team will be overseen by Marie Kim, who has a “wealth of experience” in dealing with fine wine and the outlet will have over 3,000 different wines in stock.
Hew Blair, Justerini & Brooks’ chairman said: “This is a very exciting move for us. J&B has an extremely long-standing relationship with Hong Kong. In fact, we first started to service customers here via sales trips as far back as 1976, so it’s wonderful to now be even closer to our many clients in Asia.”
As reported by the drinks business back in 2010, when the announcement was first made, this is the first time in its 263 year history that the merchant has opened an office outside of the UK.
