Change of hands at Girardin
Vincent Girardin has announced a change of management at his Burgundy estate.
Vincent and his wife Véronique have reportedly come to an agreement about the takeover of his Meursault-based property.
The running of the company has been handed over to Jean-Pierre Nié, who is a well-known industry figure in Burgundy and chairman of Compagnie des Vins d’Autrefois in Beaune.
He has also been a commercial partner of Girardin’s for a number of years.
Other operations will continue as before. Eric Germain, who has been he house oenologist for the last 10 years, will continue in his role and “will be able to rely on Vincent Girardin’s astute advice” in the future.
Likewise, sales director Marco Caschera will continue to act as ambassador for Vincent Girardin in France and around the world.
