Absolut adds London to cities collection
Absolut vodka has launched a limited edition bottle called London in collaboration with UK graphic designer Jamie Hewlett.
London is the first European city to be added to the Absolut cities collection, which has included New Orleans, Los Angeles, Boston, Brooklyn and “San Fran”.
The latest limited edition bottle will be launched in Selfridges and Harvey Nichols on 1 March with an rrp of £20.99, and from 22nd March, 50 Absolut London gift packs will be available through the vodka’s facebook page.
Set against a backdrop of the city, the bottle introduces characters from the past who have influenced and shaped London’s culture.
The seven characters span the ages from the Dickensian and “18th Century Dandy”, through to the “Pinstripe Gent”, “60’s Chick”, “SKA”, “Punk” and “80’s Casual”.
“For Absolut London I chose to re-create seven iconic characters from different eras who are largely defined by their style as well as their contribution to London’s culture at the time,” said designer Jamie Hewlett.
